스카브스타 공항 – Skavsta airport

여차저차하여 스카브스타 공항에 도착한 것이 거의 8시. 비행기 뜰 때 까지 10시간 넘게 남았다. OTL 스카브스타 공항은 저가 항공사들만 다니는 공항답게 무슨 버스 터미널 정도 밖에 안 되는 규모다. 그냥 1층 짜리 건물 안에 식당이랑 슈퍼 두어 개 있다. 갖고 온 쿠키와 오렌지로 대충 저녁을 때웠다. 그런 식으로 다음 날 아침까지 먹어야 했다. 이유는 좀 있다가.

허겁지겁 나오느라 아직 별 계획이 없으니 공항에서나마 가이드 북을 훑어봐야 했다. 아, 그래도 바로 오늘까지 시험이어서 책 볼 시간이 없었다고 당당히 말할 수 있다. 적어도 나는…….

어쨌거나 밤은 깊었고 잠은 자야겠는데 아직은 여행 초반이라 조심스럽다. 공공장소에서 아무렇게나 자도 되는건가 싶기도 하고 별로 비싼 건 없지만 그래도 혹시 누가 물건을 훔쳐갈 것 같기도 하고 해서 조심스러웠다.

다들 우리랑 같은 처지라 아예 침낭까지 갖고 와서 바닥에서 퍼질러 자는 사람도 많았다. 새벽에는 다들 코까지 골면서 잘만 자더라. 비행기도 이제 많이 대중화 되어서 이제 체면차리고 그런 시대는 지났나보다. 뭐, 사실 난 또 아침에 일어나서 화장실 가서 가뿐하게 머리도 감아줬다. 인생 별 거 있나.

아, 맞다 아침. 밤에 쿠키만 먹고 잤더니 속이 쓰려서 아침에는 샌드위치라도 먹어야겠다는 생각이 들었다. 식당까지 슬그머니 가서 가격표를 봤더니 샌드위치 하나에 55크로나. 비싸기도 비싸지만 사실 있는 돈을 죄다 유로로 환전해 버리는 바람에 수중에 크로나가 하나도 없다. 게다가 아직 집에서 부친 돈이 안 들어와서 카드에 든 돈은 38 크로나…… 에서 간밤에 음료수 산다고 17 크로나 썼구나!!

So, we arrived at Skavsta Airport around 8 PM. 10 hours left until departure time. OTL. Skavsta airport looks like just a small bus terminal because of cheap airlines. Just one floor building with several cafe and supermarket. We had cookies and oranges we brought for dinner. And we had to ate them only till next morning. I’ll tell you the reason later……

I had in a hurry, so I had to read the guide book in the airport at least. Ah, but I had really no time because I had an exam this morning. At least I can insist so……

Anyway, it is already too late, so I had to sleep, but I was too carefull because it was the first day of trip. I doubt I can sleep anyway in such a public place, and some worry about being stolen something though there is nothing expensive…….

Everybody was like us, there were many people who sleep in their sleeping bag on the floor. And they slept really well with snoring. Now airplane is also very popular, nobody pretends to be elegant in airport. Well, I also went to toilet in the morning and washed my hair perfaectly. That’s the life.

Ah, I felt a little stomachache in the morning because of only cookie, I wanted to eat something like sandwich. I went to cafe and saw the menu. 55 kr per one sandwich. Besides its price, I changed all of my kronor to euro, I had no kronor in my pocket. Moreover, money from home had not arrived yet to my card, there was only 38 kronor in my card……. and I payed 17 kronor already for apple juice!!

After all, I think cookie is the best food for breakfast._M#]
