“Let it snow~ Let it snow~ Let it snow~”

The final destination of that train was Milano. So even though we missed Bologna, we could reach Milano if we would keep going. But I wanted to go back to Firenze someday and R wanted to try a new advanture. With different thought in our mind, we took off at the next station. The name of that city was ‘Modena’.

R : OK. What’s famous here? Open the guide book.
I : No informations about this book in guide book.
R : …….
I : Let’s drink coffee anyway. It’s morning now.

Unforgettable deep taste of coffee of 1.3 euro.

Everything was cheap maybe because it was not well-know city. Cappucino which was almost 3 euro in Sorrento is 1.3 euro here.

R : OK! This city should be wonderful because they sell this kind of nice and cheap Cappucino!!

So we started to travel Modena which was not in our plan. The first place was Modena Cathedral. Because it was the first place we met in our walking.

Inside of the cathedral

Anyway, it was somewhat wonderful experience to stay in the cathedral at countryside in the morning. And because every people we met in the city was so nice, we began to like that city.

If it was not so bad weather as like this......

But the weather was too cold and the fog was too thick. Moreover we could hear strange song during walking the city.

“Let it snow~ Let it snow~ Let it snow~”

Maybe they wanted to freeze us to death.

P.S. I happened to know that Luciano Pabarotti was born in Modena. How nice!!_M#]
